By accessing, browsing, or using ScamFreeFX.com (“the Platform”), you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). This Platform and all its contents are governed by the laws of Norway, including the Norwegian Copyright Act (Åndsverkloven).
You must be at least 18 years of age to use this Platform. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must cease using the Platform immediately.
2. Definitions

- “User” or “you” refers to any individual who accesses or uses the Platform

- “User Content” refers to reviews, ratings, reports, comments, evidence uploads, and other materials submitted by users
- “Trust Scanner” refers to our AI-powered entity analysis feature
- “Services” refers to all functionality provided by the Platform, including reviews, reports, the Trust Scanner, interactive maps, and community features
3. User Accounts
Some features of the Platform require a registered account. When creating an account, you agree to:
- Provide accurate and complete registration information
- Maintain the security of your account credentials and not share them with others
- Accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account
- Maintain only one account per person — creating multiple accounts to circumvent restrictions or manipulate reviews is prohibited
- Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use of your account
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the Platform to:
- Submit false, misleading, or fabricated reviews or reports
- Spam, harass, or abuse other users
- Scrape, crawl, or programmatically extract data from the Platform without written permission
- Circumvent rate limits, security measures, or access controls
- Impersonate another person or entity
- Upload or distribute malware, viruses, or other malicious software
- Manipulate trust scores, ratings, or review rankings
- Use the Platform for any unlawful purpose
5. User-Generated Content
When you submit content to the Platform (including reviews, reports, comments, and evidence uploads):
- Ownership: You retain ownership of your User Content
- License: You grant ScamFreeFX a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to display, distribute, and make your User Content available on the Platform
- Moderation: We reserve the right to review, edit, or remove User Content that violates these Terms, is misleading, or is otherwise inappropriate
- Evidence submissions: Screenshots, documents, and other evidence you upload are stored securely and may be reviewed by moderators to verify reports
- Responsibility: You are solely responsible for the accuracy and legality of your User Content
6. Trust Scanner & AI Disclaimers
The Trust Scanner feature uses artificial intelligence (powered by Anthropic's Claude) to analyze entities. By using the Trust Scanner, you acknowledge and agree that:
- Entity information you submit (name, website URLs, social media links) is sent to Anthropic for AI processing
- Trust scores and analysis results are informational only and do not constitute financial, legal, or investment advice
- AI analysis may contain inaccuracies, and results should not be the sole basis for any financial decision
- ScamFreeFX is not liable for any actions taken based on Trust Scanner results
- AI models and their outputs may change over time, and past results are not indicative of future analyses
7. Intellectual Property
All content, designs, concepts, features, and functionality on ScamFreeFX.com are the exclusive property of the Platform's creator and are protected under Norwegian and international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. This includes, but is not limited to:
- Visual design elements, including interactive map visualizations and scanner interfaces
- User interface (UI) and user experience (UX) concepts, layouts, and interaction patterns
- All text content, written materials, reviews, and educational content
- Source code, technical implementations, and underlying algorithms
- Graphical elements, logos, icons, and branding materials
- The unique combination and arrangement of features that constitute the Platform's distinctive character
Without prior written permission, you are prohibited from copying, reproducing, imitating, reverse engineering, or creating derivative works based on any protected elements of this Platform.
8. Affiliate Disclosure
ScamFreeFX participates in affiliate programs with some of the brokers, prop firms, and services listed on the Platform. This means:
- We may earn commissions when you click affiliate links and complete qualifying actions (e.g., account registration)
- Affiliate relationships do not influence trust scores, review rankings, or editorial content
- Affiliate links are clearly disclosed where applicable
- Our editorial and scoring methodologies are transparent and independent of commercial relationships
9. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Platform and all its content are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. Specifically:
- We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of any information on the Platform, including trust scores, reviews, and AI-generated analysis
- We do not warrant that the Platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components
- Third-party services referenced or linked from the Platform (including listed brokers and prop firms) have their own terms and conditions — we are not responsible for their practices
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, ScamFreeFX and its creator shall not be liable for:
- Any financial losses arising from decisions made based on content, trust scores, or AI analysis on the Platform
- Any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
- Any loss of data, profits, or business opportunities
- Actions or omissions of third-party services, brokers, or prop firms listed on the Platform
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where it cannot be excluded or limited under Norwegian law, including the Norwegian Consumer Rights Act (Forbrukerkjøpsloven).
11. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account and access to the Platform at our discretion, including for:
- Violation of these Terms
- Submitting false or misleading content
- Abusive behavior toward other users
- Any activity that threatens the integrity or security of the Platform
You may delete your account at any time. Upon deletion:
- Your account data will be removed within 30 days
- Reviews and reports you submitted may persist in anonymized form to maintain platform integrity
12. Governing Law & Disputes
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Norway, including the Norwegian Copyright Act (Åndsverkloven). Any disputes arising from or related to these Terms or the use of the Platform shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Norwegian courts.
If you are a consumer in the EU/EEA, you may also use the European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
13. Changes to These Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated through a prominent notice on the Platform.
